Geometric Face Alteration

So for the past few weeks we have been working on our geometric face alterations. We started of with a raster image (image made of pixels) and in the end we had a victor image(image made of geometric shapes). It was tricky Adobe Illustrator since I had become accustomed to Photoshop's cut-and-paste, while in Illustrator you have to outline everything to create different sections. First week used the pen tool to section pieces of similar color of our face. Then we used the dropper tool to fill in the spaces with the most common color. The longest part was sectioning parts of my face because of the shadowing my instructor used while taking my picture. My favorite part was filling in the shapes and realizing how many colors I have in my face, but I was not to fond of having my picture taken. If I were to redo this assignment I would be a little more creative with the photography part in the beginning and I would take some time to make more complex shapes.
