Photoshop

My friend Jordan made this as the background of his Photoshop movie poster assignment. It was fun helping him out with it and creating an awesome movie design.

Cinnamon

So this is the completed version of my Cinnamon project.I used Adobe Illustrator to create an outline of the tiger then added detail to the tiger figure.

Lately I have been wanting to get a new sketchbook because I filled up my previous one. I looked at sketchbook ideas and many of them are quite fascinating. The link is to a website with pohotos of  Level A art students. http://www.studentartguide.com/articles/art-sketchbook-ideas
This was my illustrator Christmas poster design. I looked up how to make a snow-globe and it was a fun to create.

Cereal Box final

Here is my recreation(right box) of an old Flintstones cereal box(left box). In illustrator I used a lot of different tools. It took a while to do but I believe that it was worth it.

Today in class we started our cereal box project. Apparently the assignment is to recreate the box in Adobe Illustrator, which will be interesting because there are so many details that pop out on a cereal box like the brand logo and special offer signs.

So, Wednesday my class all took a look at a massive collection of vintage cereal boxes, and there are so amazing ones. My favorite was the original Fruit Loops because Tucan Sam has changed so much!

Geometric Face Alteration

So for the past few weeks we have been working on our geometric face alterations. We started of with a raster image (image made of pixels) and in the end we had a victor image(image made of geometric shapes). It was tricky Adobe Illustrator since I had become accustomed to Photoshop's cut-and-paste, while in Illustrator you have to outline everything to create different sections. First week used the pen tool to section pieces of similar color of our face. Then we used the dropper tool to fill in the spaces with the most common color. The longest part was sectioning parts of my face because of the shadowing my instructor used while taking my picture. My favorite part was filling in the shapes and realizing how many colors I have in my face, but I was not to fond of having my picture taken. If I were to redo this assignment I would be a little more creative with the photography part in the beginning and I would take some time to make more complex shapes.

The Beast

Here is another old Disney piece.

Stitch

Here's a piece I drew a while ago and is still one of my favorites. It just shows how a little time can create something really neat.

Influence Map

influence map
For the past week or two my class has been challenged with the task of making an influence map. In mine I have the Capitol building, because I was born in Washington D.C. Then I have a variety of places that I have been to including : New York, Boston, the Grand Canyon, and Niagra Falls. At the top I have a picture of what looks like Hogwarts but is really Oxford University of London. I want to go to Oxford for college because it has been my dream since I was six. My backround is sheet music and I have a trumpet because I use to play trumpet, and music is a big part of my life.
